Left 4 Dead 2
Friday, November 20, 2009 11:07 PM

Just had the privilege of playing Left 4 Dead 2 with Fujioka, Renfred and Benson at Prinsep Street. From Orchard Cine to Prinsep Street. L4D2 is super gay! Graphics, gameplay and difficulty! Haha, imagine using chainsaw to solo the tank. =P Thats what I tried earlier and it worked!
After that we went to have dinner at Carl's Jr but the crowd was overwhelming, so the changed of plans ended with us going to Waraku at Heeren and yep the food is super nice, especially the kinoko cream udon. Omg Im still drooling at the thought of it. =)
2012
Sunday, November 15, 2009 2:39 PM

After watching this show late last night with my family, I had a sudden gush of thoughts sizzling away in my mind. The show seemed very real and with all the prophecies abroad about the catastrophic occurrence of the armageddon itself.
2012 is not far from now, barely 3 years. That year would probably mark my first year in the university if I'm ever pursuing a degree or I'll be working somewhere, out there. Whether the prophecy is true or not, I can't really be bothered, to be honest. Just like how the movie "Final Destination" depicts, if you got to go, you got to go. No use running from reality. In the end, you'll still go... Would building anchors and ships like those depicted in the story of Noah's be of any use? I really don't know.

Armageddon Online.
For those who like reading up on such stories of armageddon catastrophe itself, the above links to a site which tells of all the disasters that could wipe out the entire human race. I did a presentation about this topic before during one of the Communication Skills presentation and I guess many are entice about the end of the world itself, but only through the release of 2012, the end seemed more real to many.
On the 1st Day

After a gruelling eight months, I finally step back into school once again for my final semester of my tertiary education. Yes! In approximately 18 weeks time, I'll be sitting for my final examination and after that, preparing for enlistment into NS.
Today's break was horrendus. Actually had time to go AMK for a nice 2 hour L4D session while waiting for the next lecture. =)
Late Night Movie & Supper
Sunday, October 18, 2009 4:41 PM
Got a call by William to go watch movie with his army buddies as well as Dominique and Adely yesterday night around 12am at Vivocity's Golden Village and guess what? The ticketing booth was closed when we got there. I was damn tempted to cross over to St. James and start partying!
So the next option was either Cathay or Cineleisure since both venues had late night movies. Went to Cathay and the choices were limited to a few but the movie that we wanted to watch was much later than Cineleisure so we drove down to Cineleisure and I managed to grab a can of Heineken to booze myself during the movie. =)

The movie was The Hurt Locker. Not too bad as a choice for a late night movie since it's not draggy or drowsy which might result in a premature nap. It is definitely a must watch for those hardcore war film lovers (e.g. Letters from Iwo Jima, Enigma etc.) The movie is adapted from the 2004 Iraq War and as such, do expect a lot of gore from suicide bombings. Sorry I'm not gonna reveal anything else since it'll ruin the entire experience of this film. It does lack climaxes though, I expected much more climax throughout the film.
After the movie went to Timber, which is the only Malaysian land located within Singapore for supper. Seriously, eating the Ramly Burger there is extremely sinful especially when I'm heading for bed soon. Pretty much comparable to those sold at Pasar Malam. Next time I must try their Nasi Lemak!
Sisha & Booze Night
Friday, October 16, 2009 8:12 AM
Met up with Charmaine, William, Dominique, Adely, Jun, Yin Feng and Melodie at Merdandy Bar & Cafe at Haji Lane for some sisha and beer, as well as dinner. The sisha can't be compared to smoking nicotine I guess, since the smoke which is produced by the burning of charcoal is very thin but nonetheless the mixed fruit and passion fruit was quite well done!

Round 1 of the drinking came with one bucket of Heineken and we toast to all kinds of nonsense. The music there was kinda shitty, if only I brought my MP3 player and start playing some trance music, that'll definitely start boosting the atmosphere by a thousand times.

The food was not too bad, chicken burger with french fries taste quite good and definitely worth its pricetag.

After that we went down to Esplanade Roof Terrace Grey Goose for round 2 of drinking. Had the cocktail, sex on the beach while the others had martinis, mocks... Seriously that roof terrace bar has a damn nice atmosphere and a serene view of the CBD especially being inside the green house had a very nice feeling. The drinks were good as well, making this place a good venue for drinking other than Clarke Quay.
So most of them went back while the usual suspects went for our late supper cum breakfast at some coffeeshop at Jalan Besar. Yes, the wanton mee was awesome! Damn now I'm still craving for the wanton mee.
